Great Day at Casa Savage

Today the signed title arrived from the original owner along with a couple parts to fix a few small items. So far it's been to the Ford shop for fresh oil, coolant, air filter, fuel filter and a clean bill of health. To celebrate I bought a new ScanGauge II. Next project to get some new shoes but that's another discussion. We took a trip to Lake Superior with our kayaks on top and it ran like a champ. We were on the RV tour in the campground when the power top lifted two 16 foot kayaks pretty dang high in the air. Here is the first pic I took of it on the way from So Cal to SD

That's one of the first things that struck me when I toured the SMB factory in Fresno. These vans are big!!!

Congrats, Doc, that's a fine looking rig. It should bring pleasure for a long time.

What's the white thing on top?

The white thing is a well used Skybox the owner passed on. It will be great for holding skis and snowshoes in the winter.

Sweet rig

Maybe it's just me but I prefer the look of the billet grill, the older front headlights, and Aluminess bumper to the newer Ford vans.

edit to add: a billet grill will look sweet on there
