I just recently made window covers from reflectix. I was surprised how much heat they held it. Considerably cheaper also. They roll up easily to get stuffed under a seat when not in use.

Homemade Reflectix shades = one of the best and cheapest mods to our van. I store ours flat, vertically behind the driver’s seat.
