Heatshield Sun Visors

I just wanted to share with everyone that I found these awesome sun visors for our vans and they are awesome.

They have a ton of different makes and models and make visors for every window not just the front windshield. So if your looking for privacy in a stock passenger van these may be your solution.

Also keep in mind that HeatShield has a lot of additional options for vehicles that are not listed on their webpage. I have a set for my Excursion that covers every single window in it. Keep in mind that my Ex does have factory windows and not custom installed windows like many SMBs though.

Also have the windshield screen and front door window screens for my Crown Vic, and my wife's Passat. They are not the most compact screens when you roll them up, but that's because they actually have some insulation thickness to them.

I have HeatShield covers made up for all the windows of my van. If they don't list them you can call them, they make covers for all the windows of a window van also. As Herb said they also make custom shields, which I had done for the RV windows in my rig.

They all fit very good and maximize coverage, overall one of the better additions I have made for the van.

How do they attach to passenger van windows? Just stuffed between the glass and trim/headliner? Do they make a big difference at keeping the heat in during cold weather camping? I bought a roll of Reflectix awhile back with the intention of making panels for each of my 12 windows, but never folled through, could these be the "easy button?" Looks like $240 would buy all 12 covers.

Is that this products method, or just a recommendation? I've thought about using suction cups, but got cold feet when I started worrying about them peeling my window tint film off.

I find that 'stuffing between the glass and trim/headliner' is the best method, with the suction cups providing some assistance. I've lost a number of suction cups on the various shades I have and really there's little difference in how well the shades stay in place.

FYI, HeatShield will send you replacement suction cups if you ask them.

Cool, thanks. The silver coating has rubbed off in a few places from the reflectix that I had cut for my windshield, this stuff looks more durable for sure.

I ordered one of these for my Wrangler and it should be here today. I have Reflectix already cut out for all of my van windows but may grab a front window Heat Shield if the Wrangler one works well.
