Question Help with 94 RAM SMB valuation...

I found a good condition '94 RAM 250 V8 on the Crystler 318 engine, pop top with 116k on the clock and excellent interior. No genny, no hot water but good storage.

I am having trouble figuring out a value, he has it listed at $28,500 but comparible vans I can find in the last couple of years are around
$17k, $20k. Any thoughts SMB'ers? Also have a little concern about it being less popular model so harder to find parts etc. He has put about $1500 into with tyres and various maintenance for selling.

We are working to a $30,000 budget and it's a stretch for us, so I really don't want to buy super high and need to spend on it!

I feel more confident buying into a Ford, and think we will. Curious to hear what folks think! If it sells immediately, I will know I am wrong haha!

Post the ad for us. I don't think anyone will claim jump you. For a Dodge that age, that sounds high.

PS: Congrats and kudos to anyone that owns one, because if this is the legit market value, they have doubled in value in a handful of years!!

Yeah, and it's another 'don't need to sell, seeing what the market says, I know what I have' type scenarios I think. It's in great condition with nice color scheme and SMB interior kit, but it's probably $3k+ over where I feel good at with so many more folks in the Ford camp.

It's the 1994 model year and the 318 that hang me up. I've also owned a couple of Dodges.
I don't think I want another.

I once owned the very same thing - a '94 B250 built out as a camper. It was tough and dependable, I'll give it that much. But I didn't like it as a road machine.. it was noisy and rode rough as a cob. The windows are small - I was always craning my neck to see out. I was glad to get rid of it. I'm sure Dodge makes a good package delivery vehicle, but the Ford E-vans seem better suited to conversion as campers.

Way overpriced for the year and Dodge platform IMO.
