How does 2wd do in snow?

Contemplating a 2wd SMB as a daily driver. I was wondering what people's experience was with it in the snow. Years ago I drove an Oldsmobile Cutlass, rear wheel drive, front heavy in the snow in Denver and thought it no big deal. The key was having good snow tires. Same thing with the SMB?

The SMB is heavier, but the drive in snow is similar. When I grew up in snow country, nobody had 4wd and everybody drove in snow. Chains for heavy snow, snow tires for light to modrate snow. No big deal. Probably less of deal if you have a locking differential.

I was pleasantly surprised in my drive in the snow

relatively new tires, generator in rear and eb behind the rear axle all put more weight on the rear axle.

Probably more of a deal if you have a locker. Lockers and snow go together like Pintos and rear end collisions.
