How heavy are the various SMB roofs?

I have been looking at roofs and was wondering how heavy they are? Not so much for the van but I am calculating shipping options to Europe...

I have found a great web site called http://www.myus.com/ where people abroad can order and have shipped equipment from the US...

The penthouse top is smaller in size than fixed tops but is it heavier due to mechanisms?

Thank for any info

Send an email to SMB-Texas with this question -- Paul or Kevin should be able to give you the data pretty quickly.

I was told by Sportsmobile IN that the penthouse installation increases vehicle weight by 350 pounds.

What you might consider doing is placing a local ad in your area for someone who has purchased a vehicle in the US near a SMB location. Then share the cost of the container. Usually a container will cost 1500-1800 to ship the vehicle. No matter how full it is. Just an idea!

The other thing is it will inevitably bee a self install soo I will either have to learn loads from SMB or go for a fixed top which involve less mechanisms...

Andrew weren't you leaving today???
