Re: How much does your van weigh?

I weighed total, front and rear axles, plus each tire which told me I needed E rated tires.

Re: How much does your van weigh?

Does anyone know the van weight prior to SMB's build-up? If they truly do not change the springs, there must be a big difference in the ride comfort.

Re: How much does your van weigh?

Pat, I'm glad I've waited to deal with the springs b/c of all the extras I've added. My van was definitely lighter at delivery.

I probably won't add much more now so Devers can dial it in better. I just have to make the commitment to spend that much. Other than the shutter on washboard, my van rides and corners great. No sway or hitting the bump stop hard like so many complain about.

Re: How much does your van weigh?

We just picked up the finished van from SMB Indy on Monday. We used it last summer with no interior, so I have weights from then also. It's an RB 50 basically, but no heat or AC. We have 2 batteries and a small refrigerator. Pictures later I hope.

(Left) Quigley Info empty before SMB
(Center) Weighed in CO on vacation before SMB
(Right) Completed interior from SMB IN

Act Front 3743 3940 3920
Act Rear 2835 3640 3780
Act Total 6578 7580 7700

Re: How much does your van weigh?

Confusingly, this topic is also identically named "How much does your van weigh?"

Check it out...

Re: How much does your van weigh?

It's sorta like back tracking on trails now.

Can one be deleted if there are no pics attached?
