How much is too much weight?

So we bought a 2020 AWD Ford Transit 250 Mid Roof.

And we found a company who would do our camper van conversion and they use 11 ply birchwood.

My question / concern is i take this off-roading will this put too much weight or be top end heavy my any means?

Should i be concerned about this?
Any if you guys have similar set up?

Thanks in advance.

That interior is weight centered a few feet above the floor. Plenty of interiors like that and using all sorts of materials. Unless you are talking about rock crawling in Moab that interior does not have any issues going off road. Things creak and rattle off-road but that is the fun of it.

So what if you are planning on rock crawling in Moab?

I wouldn’t worry about it. Most folk’s picker threshold is far below any vans tip over threshold.

Thanks for the info, thinking of doing forest roads and some little more extreme stuff. Defiantly not Moab lol

Totally. Wood ceiling is the trendy look right now. I wouldn't do it because my ventures would ruin it quickly and I do enough repairs as it is. Wood ceilings might work in a cool downtown apartment but in a vehicle? I have my doubts. At least that is how I talked my wife out of it. Lol

Thats so funny, my wife talked me into it. I let her make some interior decisions as she will be spending more time in the van than i would.

Will see in 5 years if it holds up or not. lol
