I've never seen an SMB that looked anything like the interior on that van.

I think SMB Texas was testing the waters with some builds like this at one point. I recall seeing one listed on their used site as a demo (maybe it's this one?). Looks like a very nice build quality inside. Very much like the ones I've looked at over in Europe.

The photos at the link above worked fine for me! Very cool...learned something new about SMB. 2006 was when Winnebago came out with the Sprinter based View, which is a very similar concept. While the quality of the Robels was likely worlds better, the Euro was very high in 2006 and I bet SMB decided there wasn't a market for these at a significant premium over a View.
