Keep the bugs out~!

SKREENZ---~!~!

You have all been so great...I wanted to share with you. My husband and I will be going to Nova Scotia in August~! That is the home of the Mega-mosquito~! We have grandchildren there and have darn near been carried off. NO more....we purchased SKREENZ which drop over each door when open and you just shut your door...special opening for your mirrors. You raise and lower your windows in between for a nice breeze...but no bugs. They are beautifully made..and little no-see-ums could not get through.

Check them out at http://www.Skreenz.com made by Chuck Blethen and his wife Jeannie...

You should have been around two years ago when we did a Group Buy. I found chuck great to work with and very accommodating.

What do you use for the side cargo doors if you want to leave them open at camp?

Bug repellent?

SMB offers side screen material, and some people like them, and some people hate them.

Skreenz has products for the side and back doors. See the above link.

As was previously said....Chuck Blethen is great to deal with. When I placed our order for the door
Skreenz....I really had a Skreenz in mind for the side doors. Chuck said that was great if we were traveling to a humid climate but not necessary where you will get evening cooling. Since we are such greenhorns we decided to wait until we had some miles under our belt. They will custom make for your SMB.

Roonie,

I bought a used side door screen and revised it like how our old Westy's side door was mounted. It worked great! I would suggest try to get a used one, since SMB charges around $300 for a new one.

Or you can do what Herb does with the bug repellant!

Re: Keep the bugs out~!

If someone else wants to sell a set of side door screens, please let me know -- I'd do similar mods.
It's a bit easier than starting from scratch!

Thanks!
