leaf springs

Hello all.
when i bought my van already converted to 4x4 with lift kit, my 1997 e350 van has Atlas progressive pack leaf springs. over the last year to two years, my springs have sagged a lot.

i am thinking about buying a new spring pack for around $3500 from a different company, or have them reworked from Atlas.

any suggestions, tips or what have you all done regarding leaf springs.

thanks,

You might try taking your springs to a local spring shop and have them re work the springs you have. Would be alot cheaper.

Most any spring shop should be able to HOT re-arch them. Cold re-arching doesn’t seem to last.

Along with the others here so far I'd try finding a local 4x4 shop specializing or knowledgeable about spring packages or a big truck/bus shop. In addition to inspecting your current springs they could check for other issues like bushings, mounting points and so on.

Much like tires its never made a lot of sense to me ordering either through a website---customer service online isn't quite the same as in person.

I had my deaver springs re-arched to remove the block and remove the sag. Some sag came back but overall pretty happy. My local spring shop charged $600.
