Lifting 2wd Sportsmobile

Hi All. My wife and I finally got a Sportsmobile and are starting to monkey with it and make it our own. It's a 1998 Dodge 2wd and we want to lift it 2"-3" so we can put on bigger tires. We will NOT be offroading as this is a only 2wd but just want a little extra clearance for rutted dirt roads. Coil spring spacers look like an affordable option but I have read mixed reviews and don't want to do anything stupid. I don't mind paying to align the van afterwards but I don't want to create other problems or get into redoing the whole front end. What is the best (simplest) was for us to do this? Also, can I really be sure I will be able to put on larger tires after the lift or are there other limiting factors I am not considering? Thanks! Look forward to hearing back from folks!

The lift you could accomplish, within the confines or your criteria, will have no bearing on tire size as the wheel/tire will still travel up into the wheel well in the exact same manner.

As to how to accomplish that lift on the front of a Dodge, I can't add anything.
