Looking for LED light recommendations....

I want to add a set of auxiliary lights to my front bumper. Hereís what Iím looking for:
1: LED, obviously.
2: Round and somewhere around 6-7 inches.
3: Reasonably priced.....canít really afford Rigid/etc

Anyone have real world experience with a pair you can recommend?

I know you said Rigid isn't in your budget, but if you're looking for a driving light check out the R-series 46. You can get them for $94 each directly from Rigid right now. Not exactly cheap, but a good price for Rigid. The floods were even cheaper not long ago, but they appear to be sold out.

I stand by PIAA - Great beam pattern with considerable less AMP draw... Occationally you see a set come down the road at a really good deal: Here is one of those if you are interested (its the LP560 6" kit, which is 2 Lamps & grill covers, and harness) for $233

I don't think they have quite the size you're looking for, but Scott (REDOVAL) hooked me up with a great lightbar from Diode Dynamics, and I'm really impressed by its quality. They do have round (housing) 3" lights.

I hate LED headlights, Iím super sensitive to them so I try to not drive at night (you can only avoid it so much living in the suburbs). The moment I spot them, I feel blinder than I already am.

Vans/Trucks are ****ing notorious for them and I donít know why!

I don't find the LEDs as bad as the HID lights. LEDs are usually pretty pure white, HIDs have a blue-purple tint that really increases glare for me.

That said there are a lot of aftermarket LEDs out there with pretty crummy beam patterns.

Brian, I have had great luck with Hella's Valuefit line of lights. I've bought a couple of different ones but not round. I'm pretty sure they have them though.

I hate to be the one to say it but the "buy once cry once" motto is very strong with the aux led lighting category. I've tried a bunch of them and landed on Baja Designs....I know you said this is out of range (believe me my account agrees!) but the output is tremendous from one set of lights compared to multiple sets from others. Another aspect worth noting is the street use for them...many companies (BD, Diode, Rigid, etc) have SAE spec lighting options that are legal for on-road use daily that may make the pill slightly easier to swallow.

Just my $0.02 as I have enough money in lighting to buy another van haha!

The best in the business right now is Baja Designs. I have never seen a cheap lightbar have anywhere near the beam pattern and usable light output as the originals.
