Looking for trusted shop/mechanic in the SF Bay area for repair and maintenance

I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area looking for a good shop or mechanic to maintain my Van and repair as needed.

Appreciate any recommendations.

This is a map made from searching the various threads on SMB for shops or mechanics that members have used of recommended at one time.

What year, make, model, drivetrain, suspension, etc. for your van?

I use Top Shop Auto in Lafayette. They do 4x4. It might be a bit of a haul from SF but over the past 18 months I haven't had any problems.

Thanks for the posts. I’m in Concord, have a 2006 E350 Sportsmobile, took it to Stress Free and was a S*** show. Have an appointment with Top Shop next week, looks like they moved to Walnut Creek. Will let you know how it goes.

Good luck with Top Shop. They moved to Walnut Creek a couple of weeks ago.

Just got it back from Top Shop, found my mechanic! They were great to deal with and their new shop is beautiful, with lots of space. Straight shooters and familiar with our rigs. Thanks again for the recommendation. Their new address is:
1285 Parkside Drive, Walnut Creek, CA, 94596

Awesome, glad to hear it worked out. I've been taking my van there for several years and I'm totally happy with the work they do.
