Los Angeles Ford Dealers

Where do my fellow LA area members like to take their rig for Ford factory service? I'm close to both Walker Burge, and Santa Monica Ford,....anyone have any experience with either of them? Galpin isn't too far either.

I have use Santa Monica Ford so far they have been very helpful. I had some check engine codes when I first got the van and they took care of them under warrantee with no questions ask.

Sunrise Ford in N. Hollywood also has a good reputation.

They have a separate service center for trucks/vans and see a lot of fleet and commercial vehicles. The diesel and V10 vans are familiar to them.

Good luck.

Re: Los Angeles Ford Dealers

Santa Monica Ford refused to work on my 98 van after their computer saw a chip attached. They essentially kicked me out as if they were angry. I was there with a problem! I didn't make it home, broke down in the middle of the street in Los Angeles. They are all busy. I use a wheelchair. I was totally stranded, up a creek.

They should have helped to solve the problem. In the end, the chip contacts after so many years were oxidized. I removed the chip and never had another problem. They could have done that. I don't go there any more.

Fritz Ford in Riverside, where I bought my Quigley, tried to rip me off. Simply by asking about charges lowered my bill by $200. They wanted to charge me $10 to adjust my headlight while under warranty!! I won't be going there either.

Find a local person you trust. No wonder the US automobile business is in distress.

Re: Los Angeles Ford Dealers

I have never been happy with Walker Buerge Jeep (same owners as ford). Just last month we have been back for the same item for the third time. Still not fixed.

My inlaws have bought 3 cars from them so you would think we would get some better treatment-but no. I would stay away from them.
