Michelin LTX A/T or the newer A/T2 ?

Is anybody using one of these tires off pavement and what is your impression of them? They are a lot milder looking than other all terrain tires and look a lot like the LTX M/S. What size are you running, what do you use them for? Any thoughts?

Thanks, Bob

Specs for that size look fine to me, haven't looked in awhile but I think 3750 for 33/16s is on the high side of E rating, which is good. Make sure they're E in the size/rim you want.

I don't see the A/Ts listed anymore, I'd be concerned about shelf age if you even have the option to buy the 1s anywhere... at least you know the A/T² are newer. The SMB is heavy so I prefer not to play around to save a buck, whereas if it were the Jeep or pickup I might look for the A/T to be a bargain and not worry about the age.

I've had very poor luck with anything labeled Michelin in off-road situations.
