I changed out my Agile/Fox Version 4 front shocks for Version 5 Fox and a big improvement ! My front weighs in at just about your weight also. Maybe try that ?

I'm not familiar with the differences. Were your newer (version 5?) ones tuned by Agile or just standard?

Garage
^^^ when I had my shocks redone I went from version 1 to whatever was current, 4 or 5 iirc. while chatting about the upgrade he said the current version at the time was valved more towards the heavier 7.3 vans. the originals were great, the newer version was a great improvement. definitely glad I took the time to send all 4 back instead of only replacing the one I ruined.

I’m just glad to hear agile is still helping out econoline owners. I had heard otherwise.

I must be a 🦖🦕 (Fox 4 & 5s ?) but the Fox 2.0 that came w/ the Agile RIP for my 02 7.3 Quigley are still good after 5 years and 40k miles.

I put 45mm adjustable tough dog on it and i am very happy. The adjust is posible from soft to nearly stuck, so a big range available. No problems while 100000mls offroad in africa exept the bushings worn out triple.
Here a link to it, hope i am alowed

BTW I went back from front end full air suspension to the springs. Full air is not the best for long term traveling.

Same here, Ramsey tuned mine many years ago, and they are still fine, but I changed the rear ones when I swapped the differential and upgraded to remote reservoirs about a year ago. I didn't have them re-valved and they need more rebound, but since one just lost all it's oil, I'll have them revalved and rebuilt. No idea why one failed though.................
