No Jeff, she does not. This will just be for #1 most of the time, or all the time! Last van had a funnel and a hose running out through one of the battery box vent holes - custom job ya know. She was fine with that.

She thinks it will smell if anyone uses it for #2, but I brought that thing home after our last camping trip with you guys and heard no complaints. It sat in our bathroom for almost an hour before I "cleaned" it.

Yea, but try getting by without one! I'd be pretty lonely.

After years with a van and a porta potty that we NEVER smell my wife still occasionally scoffs at the idea of the thing being in there. Funny, though, I never hear a complaint in the middle of the night when she has to go or during the 15 times every trip when one of my kids needs to go and we just stopped 10 minutes ago. ?????? Anyway, not a wife complaint, only a complaint about how anyone would think a porta-potty is a bad idea. To me, any good solution to a naturally occurring problem is a good idea. Go figure.

Update: Made it to Texas today and saw the van in person for the first time. My Dad picked us up at the airport and took us straight to the storage facility...had the gate code and van keys ready. He's good people. Didn't take many pics, but concentrated on testing everything out. The only thing it needs is a new kitchen faucet, but operates just fine off the water pump switch alone for now. Everything else is absolutely flawless. My Dad was right; it literally looks brand new inside.

Quick question. This one has the rear AC switch on the B-pillar which our old one didn't have. I forgot to turn that off today, but I turned off the thermostat and fan switch. Any issue there or am I okay? Any battery draw there?

Edit: never mind. Went back today and shut it off.

Not quite yet - still working on the shipping. My Dad is headed over to the storage facility today to measure the height. If it's 7' I'm fine. If it's over 7' I need to know how much it's over and see if we can air down the tires to get it down to 7'. My shipping company is contacting thier driver to see if he has any problems with airing down.
