In case you didn't get the reference Greg.... Jage had his van shipped from SMBWest to him, and the guy showed up with a pickup and trailer. Loaded van, drove around corner, unloaded van, loaded pickup, and drove Jage's van home with his pickup on the trailer, or so the legend goes!

BTW Robb, thanks for telling me that story on the very day I booked a transporter for my van. 1,800 miles - what could possibly go wrong?

Update: It's being picked up in Austin on Monday or Tuesday. That would put it here next Friday or Saturday

I would have been quite angry.

The (apparently brand new) transporter arrived in Georgetown, TX today. They inspected the van, Dad signed off on it, and they got it loaded up. Driver is picking up two more vehicles in Killeen, TX in the morning and then headed this way

Dad said it only fell off the transporter a couple of times while they were trying to load it up. He's a funny guy.

You should have had your dad put a cell phone tracker on it...

It's on their insurance until I take delivery. I've been researching that though.

I was thinking it would be fun to watch it cross the country, and know when it was near.
