Re: New BFGoodrich KO2 tire

Thanks Switchfoot, I was just wondering if the S would give more mileage or durability on the tires but, likely not enought to offset the price. Looks like per the article Agile forwarded my size tire won't be available until next year. I was thinking even maybe one size down, 285 70 R 17 but are also not available.

Re: New BFGoodrich KO2 tire

How long do you think it will be until airless tires take over?

Re: New BFGoodrich KO2 tire

I think I am about to get these on my build before it leaves Oregon for SMB. The KO's come stock on my Raptor, so far I have loved those, and the first set survived a hard 60k miles before I replaced them. Arguably, they could have handled more.

For the Van, these KO2's look perfect! The real question is 33" or 35"

Re: New BFGoodrich KO2 tire

Broke down and bought the old BFG KO's today. Lots of snow and more to come and BFG has not released when they will have the new 315 70R 17 KO 2's on the market.

I think they released a whole bunch of that info on their site. Not that specific size, but it may be one of the inch measurements instead of standard tire specs ones like the 34x10.5x17 slated for March?

I saw that, but thanks for sending. I was at the wear marks and it was no fun driving in this last storm.

Re: New BFGoodrich KO2 tire

Seems strange that they still do not show them making the 315's. The 34-10.50's are a bit narrower and I would rather have some overhand on the rims to protect them. I really wanted the snow emblem as on the KO'2, because I do spend a bit of time going over the Cascades in the winter and up to Mt. Bachelor boarding. Luckily Mr Stater has not stopped me in the line up of checking for the maditorty traction devices with the old KO's.

Re: New BFGoodrich KO2 tire

The new KO2 looks to be a great tire. They are releasing them at different times depending on size with some already out, others to release over the next few months. I am told the 325/65/18's will be out in March and will give some feedback on them once on my truck.
