My bungees for the penthouse are about shot, tightened up one too many times. Has anyone found a source for new ones online that are cut to fit? I'm sure I could find alternatives, but happy to pay for one already made for the purpose.
I could not find this item on the Fieldvan shop, other penthouse parts but not the bungees.
I got mine from Amazon. Do a search for shock cord. It comes in all colors and diameters. I 3/8”. You can measure the perimeter of the penthouse to get a starting length.

I did mine this past summer. Each is roughly 35' long. I used 1/2" dia white cord. Take one off and use for the ~correct length off the bulk reel at the hardware outlet.
Another reason to buy shock cord in bulk for this project is that you'll probably have some left over you can use to rehab old bungee cords (if you have the hooks) or you can reuse the original SMB stuff for this as well. Having done a couple of tops I have big rolls of shock cord which can be pretty useful stuff.

Are they just tied together or is there some sort of clip?
I would recommend marine grade 3/8s" shock cord and all stainless hardware. The pain here is the labor. You don't want to do this again soon and you don't want rust streaks down the fabric.
