My 1994 SMB has all lower cabinets. The original owner was an artist and had to carry large paintings laid across the top. I like the openness with all the windows but personally would prefer more storage space.

Yeah that's really neat looking. Although I can see where you would miss some storage, I bet it's not that much, since the van body angles in up there). The only thing I see that I would really miss is a taller "lean back" wall at the aft end of the couch (but one could always be added). For the purposes of the thread, that is the exact height my counter cabinets were vis-a-vis the windows (although I had higher ones in back). I recognize the wood and teal, too, exactly what my '97 Ford SMB had

Anyway, really cool layout!
