New member, first post, and a new-to-us SMB
Hi,
My name is Todd and my wife and I just got a new-to-us 2008 Ford EB with a Quigley 4x4 system. We are traveling photographers and are looking forward to using the van to go out and get those "golden hour" shots in remote locations!
I've been doing a lot of lurking and reading here on SMBF, and it is, by far, one of the best forums I have ever had the pleasure of joining.
The SMB is in pretty good shape, but it needs a little work. I'm sure I'll have many questions in the days to come!

Ha, needs a little work? Welcome to the upgrade-itis club. There's always something you can improve besides general maintenance.
I frequent quite a few different forums and this is by far the best

The van is at the 4x4 shop getting new tires and some other stuff done. When it comes back I'll take some pictures and post them. 
(There sure are a lot of emoticons featuring drinking. I should fit in well here.)

wow, your site has some great photos!! im gonna hafta spend some time on there when i get a few minutes. the few i saw of the tetons and yellowstone were awesome!!
...and welcome aboard. im a noob to the forum as well. this is a great place to figure out how to blow all your money, lol. where do you live?

Thanks for the kind words! Right now, we live in Virginia, but we plan to move to New Mexico in the coming months.

Hey Todd,
Welcome aboard! Nice website. I too, am a photographer and got the SMB mainly for that reason. Most folks here want to see pics of your rig. Me too, but I want to see good imagemaking as well. Check out my site, if you have a minute.

I left VA in 86 never to return. Class of 84 at VPI.
