Norcold fridge quits

Hi:
We replaced our Norcold fridge three years ago at Sportsmobile West in Fresno. The fridge quits when it gets too hot like camping in the 80s and 90s. Seems like it has an automatic shut down switch or something when the fridge is overworking.
It works well in winter camping.
It seems to shut down when it is on battery power and not plugged in at an RV park. When plugged it, it works fine.
It usually works the first two or three days of a trip unplugged but then starts to shut down.
We turn it off for an hour or so and it seems to reboot for a while.
Any ideas?
Pete

Sounds like you might be running your house battery down to a point where the fridge shuts down from lack of voltage. Do you have solar? Battery monitor? How old is your house battery? Tested it lately?

I was thinking it might be running house battery down. however house battery holds a great charge and solar is cooking out in the desert. Great system. We were moving camp every day and the house battery got charged well. /even putting 300 miles on the road and then the fridge would turn off on the road. ????
We will take it in to a Norcold dealer this month but wondering if we are doing something wrong. One idea was that there isn't enough venting around the fridge for air flow/
We had the fridge and house battery replaced by Sportsmobile in 2018.
Thanks,
Pete

Garage
The lack of ventilation around the fridge was my first thought.
