Re: Off to Moab...

Dang, wish I was young enough to still ride slickrock. Best I can do now days is a tame, flat trail. I can still hike a bunch though. We'll be in the Moab area on about the 22nd. We'll be going to Archs and Canyonlands. Hopefully we'll have spent some time in the Farmington area, the vermillion Cliffs and Bryce beforehand. If we have time(don't have too much fun in Moab) we'll hit Mesa Verde and tour across southern Colorado on our way back to the Dallas area. Have Fun and watch for a white Chevy with a gray hair and a no hair.

Re: Off to Moab...

That will be a great trip. Looks like your rig is well organized and loaded. Is that a cargo net overhead storage that I see in the first picture.
I have plans to install one - for light weight stuff, just not sure how to connect it to the overhead: snaps/velcro/hooks? Something like the attached jpeg. If anyone has any ideas - please let me know.

Yep they are great for small items- they are secured to the ceiling and under the PH bed with snaps.

Re: Off to Moab...

Perhaps I'm just not fully acclimatized to traveling in a one-ton van, but you brought weights?

Looks like a great trip btw, I'm jealous of the riding you're getting to do.
