For those new to Sportsmobiles you can also bend the rear bars by putting a full length foam mattress on the bed and then pullling down on the rear latch as hard as you can to get the latch to close. Anything placed between the bed and bar boxes can and will bend the bars if you force it like, Um, somebody did the first week he owned it. Iv’e lost a little head room in the rear but it’s been that way for about 8 yrs now. No worries. Oops Terry
