Penthouse "safari" windows?

I came across this photo today and am wondering if these zip out windows are standard issue on most people's penthouse tops? My old penthouse van did not have them.

I cant seem to get the image to embed but you can see the photo here:

My 2005 SMB West build (bought used in 2010) has the zip down screens and clear plastic on the front three windows. Use them all the time when I'm trying to let out an insect that flew in. I owned the van for many years before I realized they were the photo windows that were offered. I thought everyone had them. If I was to install a new canvas or top I would want at least one window to have the zip down screen and window.

^^^^ Believe Photographer package is correct ^^^^
I noticed these on another Sportsmobile, and didn't realize you could remove the screen as well - That couple explained it was an "option".
Was very happy to know I had the same, only have never found a reason to use it in that regard (other than greasing the zippers once a year).

Exactly what they were originally built for. Pretty sure I’m the owner of the first Photography Package built. Came with some locking cabinets and the three forward most penthouse windows are all able to unzip both the plastic and bug mesh for unobstructed views. As a huge plus, the ability to unzip those windows allows all sorts of winged insects to escape...

SMB West did a penthouse-only install for me in 2017 and it came with the zippers on the front three window screens. Think it was part of their standard penthouse package.

My 2010 SMB West conversion also has zippers on the front three.

2013/14 SMB North had all front three (too) standard...I think the photographer pkg lets the rear two unzip as well...thought that but could be wrong for sure...We use our for photos, ridding unwanted liquids out the side in emergency, running antenna for TV out and zipping back tight, putting thermometer transmitter on top of roof, and when we can with no bugs, can unzip them completely...but Two, youwillprobalby use them more now you know they are there? Anyway, good to see yet another new topic being discovered/discussed...this Forum is the best!

Also makes it a lot easier to clean the roof section over the cab!

Hey TWO, what do you "grease" the zippers with? Never thought of it but think it will help them a lot! They are getting more difficult to unzip/zip....Thanks in advance Two!
