Pictures of Quigley Ford after Accident

Stumbled on this on eBay and it is quite painful to look at. Seller says the vehicle was in an accident. Would it have to be a rollover to cause that much damage to both sides of the van? If it was, the integrity of the penthouse top is encouraging.

Seller seems to think it could be made drivable as a "project". Can't imagine much is salvageable. ... ars_Trucks

Re: Pictures of Quigley Ford after Accident

To my non-expert eye, I'd say it was a rollover. Odd that the PH looks intact, other than being shoved forward at least a foot or so. But then again, we can't see the top of the PH.

A body shop guy once told me that almost anything could be made drivable again after an accident, given enough time and money. This one looks like it would take way too much of both to be worthwhile. Again, I am not an expert.

Maybe the engine and tranny could be salvaged, along with some interior bits if it hasn't sat out in the weather for months.

Looking again at the pictures, I appears to me that the entire box structure of the body is twisted somewhat.

DesertBoat ...has been SOLD. Sad to have seen it go.

There's already a thread going on this same van, listed in the classifieds/eBay forum.
