Pop top replacement…hard top suggestions

Anyone recommend a high top install place up in the PNW? 2010 EB E350 SMB pop top that is a little tired and ready for a fixed top. Have looked at Fiberine and Tufport - would work perfect but way outta the way unless there is an installer up north near northern border states. Any suggestions appreciated.

If you going to travel, you could go w a CCV high profile electric poptop and have 5'8" headroom with the top down, near 8' with the top up. 52" wide bed vs the 43" you have been limited to in your current pop top. Bonus is storage over the cab w the top down.

Glad to hear you are exploring all the options.

We had a Medium CCV Pop Top (the very first) on our rig for about 6 years. We switched to the High CCV Pop Top last summer. My wife and I recently returned home from a bit over three months on the road skiing and hitting a few National Parks. Every night was sleeping in our rig. Love both versions of the CCV tops. Those tops are / were on our 2002 7.3 4x4 with a DIY walk through layout.

We also have a 2006 SMB EB50 2wd V10 Fixed Top which I am in right now on a trip to SoCal. It works fine for me when I am solo. We have have done a few two person trips in the fixed top. It is a different space to live in vs the Pop Top. Shorter duration trips in the fixed top are doable and pretty comfortable.

For us, though, the Pop Top is what provides the most versatility and enjoyment.

We are very fortunate to have the ability to experience these different different layouts and tops in lots of different usages and locations.

Feel free to ping me if you have any questions!

Isn’t Tufport right across the border, south of Vancouver, BC?

Wasatch Overland in SLC is the Tufport installer in the lower states, I’m looking to get one installed at some point on a ‘99 V10 project van I’ve got.
