Question Re: SMB and Titus Canyon

Hi Fellow SMBers,

Has anyone driven their Sportsmobile through Titus Canyon in Death Valley? We are thinking of taking ours through on Saturday, but are concerned about clearance. Our SMB is a Ford EB and its around 9 feet tall with the solar panel on top of the Aluminess rack. I've done the drive before in our Ford F250 crew cab with no issues, but that was a while back. Thoughts, suggestions? Thanks.

I've been thru Titus at least half a dozen times and I can't think of any height clearance issues you would have with any vehicle.

Full disclosure: One trip in 2WD van and rest on motorcycles. Still don't think there are any height clearance issues.

No issues at all for me. My van (EB) is lifted, has a roof rack, a Yakima cargo pod on top, plus a ladder on each side.
