Ravelco self install

Has anyone installed a Ravelco on their own? considering it for an E350. Just wonder what I am getting into?

I wonder if they will let you self install. Somehow I doubt it.

Ravelco is just a series of switches in a handy dandy losable key form- you could do almost the same thing with some cheap autoparts switches, or existing items that need to be on or off to start the van.

They do not allow you to self install the unit. I asked.

I installed one and love it....I can leave the keys in the van and just take the pin unit when I leave the van. Its not going to run without the unit (pin, size of a quarter). A theft will have to call a tow truck to steal the van....10,000 lbs.
