Real customer service from SMB north
I have had the need to call SMB north with questions about my 1982 unit and they have always found the right person for me to speak to.
Recently I went on their website to order the roof gasket, some stickers and tee shirts, and a few other pieces. I had no luck as the stickers were out of stock and the website wouldn't allow shipping to Canada.
I then called Nancy at SMB and she said, without hesitation, that I could email her a list and she would see what could be done.
I fired off the list and moments later she replied that she would get back to me.
The next day she emailed me that the entire order could be assembled at her office from various other SMB companies, and then shipped to me. Sadly they don't take credit cards so I sent her a money order with an extra $20 for shipping.
She then shipped the entire order to me, including filling out the customs declaration, without me having paid the entire shipping.
I got the order yesterday and I am impressed with every aspect of this transaction.
Oh, and she even shipped the out of stock stickers! And Pntyrmvd looks great in her new official tee shirt.
That is real customer service.
