Replacing Macerator pump with gravity feed

I posted this in the wrong area, so now back to here.....

I've had two macerator pumps fail -- the most recent one is blowing the 20 amp fuse even before turning the switch on -- and would like to remove it and replace with the "normal" grey and black tank disposal system using gravity.

Wondering if this is possible, if it's difficult and if anyone has done this with their T1N SMB?

If it’s blowing the fuse without turning the pump on, the issue is likely not the pump. Try removing the wires from the pump before replacing the fuse and if it blows, you have a short somewhere in the wiring.
