The little critters we had we caught coming in under the dash from the engine.

Re: Rodent defense?

The compartment for propane and city hookups (if you have the door over them) has been know to not be well matched to the hole they cut in the van. I've done 2/3 of mine with expanding foam, but the rest I can't reach because the propane fixtures are in the way. It's definitely enough room for mice to come in.

like want-one said they come in somewhere under the dash... i just saw them run down through the footwells and then escape back up there

Re: Rodent defense?

Any nice holes where you can shove wires through soft rubber is probably enough for a mouse to squeeze through. I'm pretty sure there is something up under the brake pedal that I ran wires through. They don't need an open hole, just something they can push and squeeze through...or chew.
