Well I no longer hate geico. The adjuster was able to use the comps I sent him along with the notes on my application listing the 4x4 conversion and exterior accessories. Raised their total loss settlement from $13k to $28k. Win. Now to find that darn lab!

Shows us all how important it is to document not just the base vehicle, but the upgrades as well.

Any word on the Salvage Value, now that the adjuster has a settlement value?

Good luck on finding your dog. What a terrible situation that you had to leave the area without him.

Really good news that she's been spotted. I lost a newly adopted dog in Yosemite. Once the rangers told me she's been spotted by a couple of people, I felt much better and knew there was a chance. We got her back the next day. If your pup is keeping to an area, it is just a matter of time before you find him.

My dog is skittish too. I had to have someone from the rescue drive out to help me retrieve her because I knew she wouldn't come to me.

AHHHHH! MY DOG WAS FOUND BY SOME CAMPERS!!!!! they have a 5 day old baby and are living at a camp site, so they can really use the reward money too! just have to get back up there ASAP to pick her up! the wife is so excited, which is great; i wasn't sure my marriage could endure many more days of her without her dog.

Sorry we're not down there to help collect the pooch. Glad to hear you have a path to resolution and that insurance isn't totally hosing you.
