And now I have purchased a low mile (69k) 2000 eb with a 7.3. Was municipal garage queen. Can't wait to start the new build. Going with the u-joint coil kit and 2013 axles with the big brakes.

Nice!!!! If you have any questions about the install, I can help too. I just did a our coil kit (same kit Ujoint sells) on a 1999 7.3 van. Jsweezy is also a great resource for coil kit installs.

If you find a 2016 axle, you get gigantic knuckle joints in the axles. Same big brakes and beefier axles.

Good to know, but I've already made a deal on some 2013 axles. I have a buddy who is an insurance adjuster, Who was able to get me a really good price, $800 better than when I called the yard. They're pulling them now.
