Securing Wiring to E350 Frame
Working on replacing all the battery cables with the kit from Custom Battery Cables. While removing the stock cables, I didn't put too much effort into not breaking the stock retainer clips that the cables were taped to when pulling them out, as I assumed they would be easy to find. Turns out I was wrong. Anyone have recommendations on solutions that worked for them for securing large wiring to the existing holes in the frame? Hoping to avoid ordering a bunch of clips and then having them not work out as it seems measurements are all over the place. Thanks!

Often times I've used this site for OEM exact or similar clips & fasteners: https://www.clipsandfasteners.com/Default.asp
Another site is Del City found here: https://www.delcity.net/
You could also do a general search for the brand name AuVeCo and check their offerings.

Weld Mount - Stainless Stud Fasteners

these are what we use to secure all standalone wiring on the van.
a bit more expensive, but this allows us to route wires wherever we need without putting holes in the van. the existing holes aren't always in the best location.
another advantage - if more wire needs to be run in the future, the wire clamp is there to hold it.

You guys are fancy! I admit, I have many times way over-done wiring add-ons but most of the time flexible wire loom to protect the wire and zip ties to secure it does a pretty bulletproof job. What I like about them is I don't need a certain size and the way I attach they can quickly and easily be replaced if I add a wire here or there.

I posted about some "anchors" that I found a while back.

Thanks all for the recommendations! Those magnetic ones are pretty slick. Will update once I sort out which ones to use.

It would be great seeing which you chose and how you put them to use if that's not too much to ask.

OK, I'm coming late to the party, but here goes:
Aircraft Spruce & Specialty sells genuine Adel-brand Mil-Spec MS 21919-WDG clamps for much less than McMaster-Carr (about half), and will ship them to you via First Class mail for $2-$3 in postage and handling. Here's a link:
https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catal...1919clamps.php
(Hopefully I pasted the link correctly - it's my first time posting a link, I think.)
Remember: Chafed battery cables are "muy no bueno"!
Good Luck!

This type of clamp is what I'm leaning towards right now, thanks for the source. Doing my best to make sure I do this right the first time by keeping future maintenance/issue diagnostics in mind too. Pretty sure it isn't OEM, but the stock cables have a heat shielding wrap on them as they pass by the starter, so going to replicate it on the new cables too. I haven't gotten back under the van yet to make sure I have the correct measurements for bolts and the diameter of the wires, but am hoping to this weekend. Will keep everyone updated once things start moving forward!
