Seeking photo of bare SMB walls (pre build)

Hey all, does anyone have a photo of the bare walls of their Ford SMB BEFORE sportsmobile put on the insulation, wiring, wall etc?

Looking to see what I have to work with in terms of attaching cabinets to both the floor (easier) and walls (no idea whats behind there)

thanks in advance!

Try looking through my rebuild thread. I utilized much of the same method that SMB did on securing the lower cabs, they are through bolted to the floor with large angle brackets and the upper cabs are screwed into them, with a few screws and smaller angle brackets to brace the uppers into the birch ply wall panels, which were carefully screwed to the inner wall bracing. I used truss head screws, both self tapping metal and wood type.

Saw this in the rotating pic area. Not sure it’s good enough to see what all there is to work with, but thought I’d post it either way, hth.

In reality there are very few screws attaching the actual wall panels to the van metal walls (top & bottom). The walls are attached to the back of the cabinets with L-brackets or via the window boxes. The cabinets are securely attached thru the floor.

"Cabinet sides are bolted down through the van’s steel floor using 8 to 12 special steel “L” plates. Cabinets are also secured to the van’s sides, and other appropriate points."
