Question shelf matting -- stop sliding & rattling -- suggestions?

I got a reply on a general question on shelf repair, and a responder had a side suggestion that I liked:
Quote:
1/8” self adhesive rubber matting - I put this in all my drawers to keep stuff from sliding around and prevent any rattling. Also have it on a couple shelves for the same reason.
I have requested a reply for further details, material? and manufacture?, no response yet. So, I thought I would create a new post seeking suggestions from others.

Thank you, appreciate this forum

You can use it between dishes as well.

We use painters towels between dishes, pots, pans and tableware. https://www.homedepot.com/p/HDX-14-i...-HDX/311710368

I’m also using old vinyl fabric left over from my gaucho cover cut in the shape of a +.

Sorry jeff00seattle for not responding sooner to your initial inquiry (you quoted my response from another thread), been on vacation so didn’t see your request. Looks like all the previous responses from members point you in the right direction.
