Re: SMB Vandalism

There's no way a baseball or baseball bat did that. The shape of the body in that area makes it pretty strong.

I'm pretty sure either it was backed into (ladder, canoe... anything sticking off a rack). If your driveway is sloped, it could have been the top of a cargo trailer.

Re: SMB Vandalism

Yeah, we're pretty much over being pissed at whoever did this as there is nothing we can do about it except fix it and move on. The driveway is sloped and the van was over 30' away from the road. I think the speculation that it was something on top of a vehicle that pulled in to turn around is probably correct.

Re: SMB Vandalism

I bet you Detective Monk could figure this out in a few minutes
I think he's afraid to fly so getting from SF to Utah could be a problem.

Any chance this happened prior and you just didn't notice it?
Especially if you stopped by a Home Depot parking lot.
That's a likely place to get your vehicle dinged or bashed.

Glad to hear you're over it. Good karma will come your way.

Happy Halloween!

Re: SMB Vandalism

Hmmm, I pretty much have the very same dent -- but mine's from backing into a tree.

Hard to imagine someone wanting to inflict vandalism would go through the trouble to hit the van so high up.
