Be very careful about how you install your panels as far as warranty goes. Not sure about other manufacturers, but Renogy was super picky with me about 4 (four!!) panels that failed in a sailboat installation. Because I had done something other than just use the existing holes in the frame to mount them they refused to warranty them.


Like I said could be all manuf's are like this, and yes it was my fault for drilling a few extra holes, but I know this is how Renogy handled it and it was a very unpleasant experience to not have my panels warrantied.
