2-3 year wait is insane. Geez, time to go Sprinter?
Since the SMB was totaled and we’re not fans of the non-Classic options, we’ve joined the dark side with a Black Series HQ19 overland trailer. It’s a sweet rig with all the trade offs any of these options have. It will go most anywhere the SMB would, is on the glamping side of life, much more to manage than our Chaser trailer, but the Tundra is free to launch first thing in the morning for the day’s adventures. Not having to make and unmake the bed each day will leave us spoiled. And, realistically, after some significant health issues in the family the last year+, we have to face the inevitable inability to clamber up and down to the penthouse.

With all that, the SMB was a wonderful ride. And the Chaser is for sale here.

Don, Those are really compelling. I was at SEMA and was so impressed. I can see the case for a black easily. I bet you guys will be very happy.

Thanks. Looking forward to the next phase. May have to wait for the driveway and road to dry out though we could try off-roading in the very wet caliche we have.
