Sprinter van will not start

Just an FYI to all Sprinter owners. We were on are way back form Florida. Stopped overnight in Cinci. Van would not start on Sunday morning. AAA tried, no luck not the battery. Had to wait for a flat bed tow in the morning. Hubby searched the internet and finally discovered that it was a 20 amp fuse in the box under the dash by the steering wheel. Once replaced the van started. Always carry extra fuses. Sundays are not a good days to get stuck.

Good info. What circuit does that 20 amp fuse protect? What caused the fuse to blow?

It protects the starter motor #23. The gloplug was faulty and it took more energy causing the fuse to burn out.
