Static electricity and how do you fill your fuel cans?

That's great info Eric. I work around planes a lot but have never really paid that much attention to the fueling, and you're right. That's what they do. It's really no different with a vehicle.

Yup, all along I've known this is the answer, but it didn't really connect in my head. I also knew I should check continuity from the can to the van, but with rubber tires it made little sense. I think you hit the nail on the head. A jumper to the pump it is..............Thanks
