35 spline is stock for the semi-float axles, at least since RSC was introduced. I'm not sure about pre-RSC semi-floats.
Looks like rsc came out in 06? I have a 35 spline oem lsd from my 03 semi float Dana 60. Will it fit in a full float axle? Not really relevant to the situation, but I was curious.

As a point of comparison, the f-series trucks, which unlike the vans have transfer cases available directly from Ford, have had the sterling 10.5 axle since 99. It comes with 1 1/2" diameter 35 spline shafts.

Yes, the Truetrac that I have is made for a 30 spline axle shaft. I was born and raised in Bishop and went to the same elementary and high schools that my grandfather attended. It is a beautiful place. When I was 10 I was able to drive the surplus jeep that my father used for prospecting. Up until I graduated from high school I was able to explore every model T tire track and canyon in the region. In the past ten years we have moved around a lot so this is giving me time to see family and friends and work on a project that just became more complex (not the axle). Thank you for all of the suggestions and links. I will be contacting the vendors to see if they carry an axle that will fit this odd setup.
