@Gnarvan, et al, the pouches really simplify storage in ways that I had not anticipated. Each section is an area (clothes/kitchen/dopkit&bath/junkdrawer) I actually am able to "find" items easier, as the items that are in the pouches are for everyday use and go back to the place they came from. Things that don't see everyday use go in the wells on either side... look down and see various items in one place rather than a pouch search. Things are separated and don't roll, rattle, bounce, break, wear/tear as much as in drawers, storage boxes, or even duffles. I did 9 days with no duffle. I hate me some duffles. The pouches hold a remarkable amount of stuff for the space they require.

One of my observations from the prior, fully-furnished setup is this: Every time I open a drawer, or a cabinet door, or a vertical fridge door, or pull a duffle from a storage location, etc., I have to step back, pull a thing open, get out the stuff, close the thing back up, and, then step forward to reclaim my prior position. That meant that I had to have a place to step away from all that furniture at all times... takes up a lot of blah x 3. With the pouches, you just reach in or put back from wherever you are, same with the horizontal fridge. Plus, they make no sounds and nothing bangs open or shut when you are accessing, like a drawer or door. Less cussin' too!

I ain't pitchin' pouches to y'all, just reporting on the performance... I'm sure some folks find 'em as ugly as a mud fence.

Another fantastic vid showing the transformation of the van. You guys have created a very functional platform that can be used for more than just glamping. What a transformation.

I agree with your storage ideas. I have lived on a few boats just crammed with lockers, drawers, storage bins and they all suck and waste space. I'm going to use net pouches which should make finding things easier. And remember the golden rule " Possesions increase to match storage area"

I use this setup on the walls, it all started with Smittybilt overhead stuff for Jeeps and then I was able to find the mount sheets and pouches (All in Black) to put it all together at the army surplus store.

I also use bigger bags (Also all Black) like these with Velcro mounted name tags on them. I had a local T-shirt and Hat shop embroider the name tags I needed for the bags.

Christine stayed home, so not as much fun as a "camping" trip, but she made us a cool film.

I want to know what Marc does with all the sleeves to his t-shirts.

Are they getting recycled into some kind of art work?

Cow hide pillow stuffing perhaps?

Does he have a rag shortage in his workshop? He slops some finish somewhere it don't belong and he has to rip off another piece of t-shirt to clean up the mess......
