Here is a REpost of the footage shot by a co-rafter just a couple hours after we got out at Bright Angel trail... everyone lived... action starts at about 1:00 min

Re: TGTBT

Yep, it was a great trip. Sad to say that the area we camped at was involved in the Rim Fire that has destroyed so many acres.

Here is the link to our trip report. I missed everybody the minute they all left.

I hope to meet up again soon.

After reading this, I went back to the link and "zoomed in" on my computer and it did help a lot!

Prolly is old man eyes, 'cause I got 'em... as I type it, this post looks better since setting the zoom in

Dave, great write-up and great times with friends. Your pics reminded me of a backpacking trip to Tehipite Valley (Kings Canyon) that some friends and I took years ago. It's like an undeveloped Yosemite, but a major bitch to hike in and out of. At the time I thought I was in good shape, but my legs and knees told me otherwise.

Re: TGTBT

I spy a couple of pics on autoramblings of the new custom fabricated rear bumper.

Looking good. I like the rack over the tire.
