The trailer chased me down
Mac, your case is much better around the fire than a hitch in the back! Thanks for sharing.

Thankfully, no. Back then in competition we used plastic wads in a brass bullet casing with the same powder level as a real bullet. The wad is what hits the target. But let me tell you, the plastic wad still hurts when you shoot yourself from just inches away. And it penetrates the skin and has to be dug out. And, of course, it makes you feel really stupid when you do it in front of a crowd of spectators. . . twice.

Re: The trailer chased me down
At least mine was not on a video that will stay in the ether for eternity. But even if it were, the worst one would have heard me say is "DANG IT!!!"

Re: The trailer chased me down
It's a sick feeling seeing your trailer pass you by.

The trailer chased me down
Good news today. Even a blind squirrel..... A van the same color as mine with a much smaller dent in the rear door came to the junk yard. Scored that and pop out windows all the way around! Nice recovery from my escapade with the dump trailer. Also managed to install the two new rear speakers I got from another forum member. Not a bad day. Now the blasted fuel filter to tackle.

Re: The trailer chased me down
Hang on to those popouts. I have 'em sides and rear and look out for spares/junk constantly. Haven't found any others yet.

Re: The trailer chased me down
A routine once learned over many hours just does not get written over by a change conceived in a few seconds and put into practice over a few minutes. A year and a half ago, I tried to bring a blue Walmart bag with a spare pair of glasses, an empty Pur water bottle, and some paper (either mail or trash, I can't remember which) from my car into my house. That's the end of the memory trail. My brain figured the blue bag would take care of itself and became occupied with other concerns. I've given up ever finding those glasses.
