Re: The van order

I just got a '09 Diesel for $27,500. I don't think you can touch that price through Sportsmobile.

It is a stripped commercial version, but it has the options that were important to me: diesel, power group, towing package, back-up camera, and rear a/c. It also does not have the 4.10 rear axle, but I'm planning to go with the Dynatrac rear axle anyway.

Additionally, because I am getting the van first, it will be registered with the $27,500 value.

All of this could bite me in the butt later, but so far I think I am saving significant $'s.

Re: The van order

One of the nicer things about buying used. $500-600 bucks a year adds up. The fees in CA just got increased.

Look behind you SMBDAD, Mickey was stabbed in the back by a politician and is deflating, that’s why Disney moved to Florida. At least California has the Sierra Nevada’s… if it weren’t for that I’d be outta here. It’s a cryin shame.

Re: The van order

I left NY years ago and came to Florida because NY is pretty bad when it comes to this stuff also...but I don't think even NY DMV fees are anywhere near what you guys are talking about. Is this on regular cars too?? Pretty soon California will have only the very rich and very poor...the rich will pay all the taxes and the poor will do what they do...the middle class will all be relocated to Florida! Although, I think we're headed in the same direction, but it will take atleast 20 years to get to where Cal. is...
