Re: tow strap

I am actually thinking I'll use my tow, poly strap for pulling out from now on for that reason. It's the mama bear: some stretch, not as much as nylon but more than chain. With the beefy one for my van I can really load up a lot of energy on some stuck little vehicle, and I don't want it rocketing around either. I think maybe the stretchy ones have more utility for light vehicles that wanna use a head of steam to add to the pulling power. It works, but kinda scary with our vans.

Re: tow strap

I usually don't like "kits" as 1/2 the stuff is junk. But I got this one on sale for $120, it seems great quality, never had to use it. Then just added a receiver shackle to the kit. Kit comes in at least 2 versions of strength, (20k and 30k), so make sure you get the with one.
